Áile is a young girl with a special relationship with nature that only she and her grandmother know. Aileen is taught to use plants as medicine. But one day she finds out a secret that turns her little world upside down.

"Nuohttun" is an education film about how to fish with seine, a long fish net. The film also introduces Sámi language words for different kind of tools and chores related to fishing.

In this film we can see how to slaughter a reindeer and cut the meat and skin.

Five young kids decide to leave the civilization in order to purchase the life of their ancestors who once roamed the lands. However that territory is now forbidden area, but the youth have made a decision to start a new life in the wilderness. But they have forgotten that reality ultimately has a tendency to catch up with dreams, can they ever find their lost paradise?
