Preparations for a carnival are under way in a Bulgarian town. People are very excited. They are head over heels in the forthcoming celebration and gradually, they lose their self-identities and adopt that of masks they put on. All of a sudden, a Stranger lands in the little town. Coming from another planet, he has the ability to impersonate the true image of everyone who violates another man. Misunderstandings and comical situations succeed each other. Quite a number of 'bad guys' come out...

This is a film about moral dilemmas which surgeons face. Dr Panov, the head doctor of a provincial hospital, has a keen sense of responsibility and he takes risks in the name of life a lot more often than his colleagues.

'The Hedgehogs' are a group of youngsters who are trying to gain control of the empty space between the blocks of flats, which they want to convert into a basketball court. The resistance of the neighbors is soon overcome and the court is laid down. Training courses in basketball for kids are set up. The ambitious coach is selecting only those of the boys who are able to carry out his most absurd orders. Two of them happen to be late, so he immediately fires them from the team. Thus the 'hedgehogs' war' against the indifference of the adult breaks out.

The year is 1948 and a counter-revolutionary gang is active in the Pirin region. A State Security officer managed to infiltrate the gang. He becomes "one of their own", but isn't in a rush to complete his task.

Three thematically related novels. The first is "Mother, father and me". The adults have hard time answering the kid's questions. Young Yulian sees that his parents are arguing. He cannot explain how his dad left the home, since his nightshirt and bed are there. The parents send Yulian to his grandpa at the village. The kid has a lot of fun, there are animals - pig, cock, turkey and he is playing all day. The grandpa dies. When Yulian goes home, he gets lost. Her mother accidentally meets him and embraces him crying. Second novel is "School". Three friends Yulian, Rumen and Hristo use small ceramic tiles for a game of marbles. Where to find them?

The central character is emerging from his childhood and standing on the threshold of maturity. At 13 he is asked to make his first important choice: with which one of his parents (who are about to divorce) he wants to live. The answer is, 'With no one!' The film traces the life of the character which has led to this decision.

Two novels united by common characters and a never-settled problem: the clash between sincerity of children and the heartless pragmatism and ambitions of grown-ups.

Razvodi, razvodi... is a 1989 Bulgarian anthology comedy film that delves into the complexities of marital relationships through a series of five short stories, all centered around the theme of divorce. Each segment offers a unique perspective on the emotional and societal facets of separation, blending satire with poignant human experiences.

The action takes place in a small town situated between a river with a romantic past and a cement plant with an industrial future, which is attracting new workers. Some of them go to live with the good-hearted Old Vangel. These are all people who have lived through many frustrations and made bad names for them. Two of them arrive straight from prison. It appears that it is a failure that has taught them to value freedom, to yield easily to pleasures of life and to temptation. The dramatic effect of the film is felt when this happy band goes face to face with the practical things of life and the prejudices of the people around them. They also clash with several people in small town whose life is passed uneventfully and who have working without looking around lest evil should lead them astray and destroy their property. The filmmakers examine two attitudes to life, each imperfect in its own way, thus making us consider the possible ways of achieving harmony.
