The kind Marie Meyer always has an ear for the worries of others. When she meets Tommy, a boy with asthma whose mother died in an accident, she becomes his fairy godmother.

Juliane Kostner is an attractive woman in her prime: charming, fashion-conscious, worldly. It's no coincidence that she has been head buyer at a luxury department store in Berlin for 30 years.
