The Beginning of the End

Porto Alegre, nowadays. At one of the most known streets of Porto Alegre, in exactly 11´10", people pass one another, interact, go on about their and our lives. Fiction and reality working side by side and vice-versa.

In Porto Alegre, the unemployed Ciro has a dull life in a simple apartment with a nameless stray dog that he had found on the streets. Ciro is supported by his parents and works every now and then in translation of Russian. When he meets the aspirant actress Marcela, who dreams on traveling to other places, they immediately fall in love for each other. However, Marcela has a lymphoma and travels for a treatment, and alone Marcelo becomes depressed and returns to his parents home.

The film tells the story of sixteen people in the hottest day of the year in the city of Porto Alegre.

Five adolescents in a conservative community experience strange transformations in their bodies. Faced with rejection in the town and the fear of adult life, thye must decide if they accept their dragon aspect or conform to the tedium and local conventions. Errante - A Dating film came spontaneously during five days of Carnival 2011, where the director, working alone, armed with a camera, two microphones and a car, wandered through Porto Alegre, inside the RS and Rio de Janeiro, filming the mental connections that beings / objects / places presented him.
