Minister Andreas Mavrogialouros (Labros Konstadaras) visits the village of his electoral district, Platanias for the inauguration of a maternity hospital. It is based on the play "The 6th American Fleet" by Alek Sakellarios and Christos Giannakopoulos, who also wrote the screenplay, while Sakellarios directed the film.

Young teacher Floras arrives to teach a class at a girls’ high school in Athens. His students, daughters of rich Athenian families, are very spoilt making his and the other teachers work difficult. When he starts implementing discipline in his class, the girls use every means to get rid of him. But the most undisciplined, Lisa Papastavrou, falls in love with him.

Ultimately, a series of happy times will cancel the fake marriage, mother's surgery, and leave Kosmas the money to marry and start married life with greater financial comfort.

Sotiris, the president of Ano Latini, goes to Athens to get information about the project of expropriation for the construction of a military airport in the village. Dimitroula, president's daughter, is in love with Vangelis, an aircraftsman, who serves his duty in Athens. When Vangelis learns that a wealthy villager asked to marry his girlfriend, he goes to the village with his friend Kanellos, to find out what's happening.
