Tales from the Darkside is an anthology horror TV series created by George A. Romero, each episode was an individual short story that ended with a plot twist. The series' episodes spanned the genres of horror, science fiction, and fantasy, and some episodes featured elements of black comedy or more lighthearted themes.

With his landlord breathing down his neck and his writing career stagnant, the last thing Harrison Tyler (Dean Winters) needs is a kid hanging around. A series of comedy shorts and parodies from the eighties by Bryan Michael Stoller. Many were featured on NBC's TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes, and ABC's Foul-Ups, Bleeps & Blunders. Back then, when there were only four networks, each show garnered close to thirty million views.
