A coming out of age story of 2 secondary school students who study in a Christian school. Ming is in closet and Hei is openly gay.

Ricky leaves Hong Kong for Switzerland to look for the lost soul and the past of his deceased Swiss lover, Pascal. Ricky struggles with the confusion of memories, reality and illusion.

The film follows an emotionally harrowing journey endured by young gay photographer Alex, after he is diagnosed with peritoneal cancer. Abandoned by his brother and his on-again, off-again lover, Alex is forced to face his mortality and the loss of his sexual identity through sheer resilience. A devastating, but ultimately hopeful story of survival and resolve.

While same sex marriage is broadly celebrated in Europe and North America, Hong Kong reminded as a metropolis where such basic social security is missing for the queer communities. Dedicated to the Hong Kong queer icon, Ellen Loo, who committed suicide in 2018, and starting from the moment where Ricky come out to his family, Forever 17 explore an imaginable future for the queer community, through love and acceptance, betrayal and forgiveness, pain and recovery, death and survival, inheritance and eternity, and honouring a life long commitments.

Three conversations between LGBTQ+ children and their parents will bring them closer to each other. Billy's mom thought Billy was gay when he was young. But as he grew older, she heard that he might be straight and was relieved. Little did she know that Billy would come out to her. Eunice spent four years to be ready to come out to her mom. Will her mom understand more as a teacher? The reaction will surprise her. Bryan likes to dress up as a woman, and he decides to write a mail to let his mom know all about it.

This is a poetic, romantic, yet bittersweet journey about searching for one's presence in the digital age, where anyone has the capability to share their own stories of love and loneliness within it.
