The film tells the story of high school graduates, their first — still school — problems and challenges, Hobbies and disappointments, friendship and dreams.

They're looking for the driver who hit a woman on the highway. The suspect is engineer Peter Sergeev. But Sergeev, who accidentally dropped a photo of his fiancee Irina at the scene, did not commit a crime. When he saw a woman lying on the highway, he drove away so as not to get involved in the story, although timely help could have saved her.

During the German occupation, Belarusian teacher Ales Moroz does not abandon his students, instilling in them a sense of determination and courage. One day, the students disobey their teacher and decide to avenge their parents. As a result of a failed attempt on the lives of Nazi henchmen, the children are taken prisoner. Unable to find support from the partisans, Ales decides to share the fate of his students and surrenders to the enemy, which after the war is considered treason. Only one of his students, Pavel Miklashevich, miraculously survives until Victory Day. Continuing his teacher's work, Pavel devotes his life to restoring the good name of Ales Moroz.

Several children go on a lifelong space mission to Cassiopeia because they don't want to go to school.

Interstellar expedition equipped by "pioneers"(soviet scouts) reaches Alpha Kassiopea and finds that smart robots took control of whole planet.
