Pioneer Days

Jack Randall plays Dunham, a wandering cavalier who comes to the aid of frontier heiress Mary. The girl's legacy is half-ownership of a prosperous saloon, the other half controlled by hissable villain Slater. With the help of no less than two comic sidekicks, Dunham cuts the villain down to size.

The Code of the Scarlet

Assigned to catch a gang of outlaws, officers Bruce Kenton and Paddy Halloran rescue Helen Morgan when her wagon is attacked by the very same gang. Through a ruse, Kenton manages to infiltrate the gang, which is holed up in the lawless community of Caribou Flats. While in the employ of villainous trading post operator Jack Blake, Kenton discovers that Blake is not only the leader of the gang but also the man who murdered Helen's brother.

Some Mother's Boy

When two young tearaways are fleeing from the scene of a crime one is shot and the other escapes. He makes his way to the home of his companion's mother, who recognizes him as the son she has been separated from for fifteen years.

The Sign of the Wolf

John Farnum returns from India with the 'secret of the jewels', two small chains that turn sand into jewels. Outlaws know about the chains and are after them. But Tom, sidekick Bud, and the wonder dog King are there to repeatedly fight off their attempts.

Wild Horse Range

Randall and his sidekick Manny (Frank Yaconelli) played horse traders battling a greedy and unscrupulous rival (Tom London). When some of his stock disappears, Jack follows the trail to a ranch belonging to Harriet Morgan (Marin Sais) and her young niece, Ann (Phyllis Ruth). A white stallion is accused of luring the Morgan mares astray but the horses are in reality being rustled by the ever-present London and his henchman (Charles King).

Sons of the Saddle

Jim Brandon, foreman of the Wind River Ranch, owned by Martin Stavnow, is in love with Ronnie, the rancher's daughter, though he is unaware that Harvey, a youthful cowhand, also loves her. Thus, Jim asks the boy, whom he protects like a brother, to speak for him. When he is spurned by Ronnie, Harvey decides to join Red Slade's gang, who are plotting a raid on the Wind River herd. As Jim forcibly attempts to separate him from the gang, Harvey is killed; and through the aid of his horse, Tarzan, Jim foils Slade's attempt to stampede the herd. Slade takes refuge in a wagon where Ronnie is hiding; Jim rescues Ronnie from the wagon just before the runaway team plunges over a cliff with Slade riding to his doom.

Cheyenne

Cal Roberts can ride anything with four legs. He enters the contests held at big rodeo. He wins all honors and meets a girl who races horses to help her father clear pressing debts. Complications follow, but Cal wins the girl.

Rainbow Riders

Jerry Hixon's ranch is being besieged by raiders so Ben sends for his friend Bud. When Bud arrives and finds that the outlaw Texarkana Pete has been captured, he buys Pete's clothes and posing as Pete joins the outlaw gang. But he is quickly in trouble when his masquerade is exposed.

Rawhide Mail

Reed breaks up the first attempted gold robbery. When the outlaws next attempt is successful, Reed is jailed as the suspect. Escaping from jail, he knows who to look for.

The Cherokee Flash

Lawyer Butler, wanting Jeff Carson's ranch, has the Sheriff and his gang frame the bank holdup on him. Then they kill a witness that could free Carson and blame the murder on his son Sunset. But Sunset escapes, frees his father, and then sets a trap to catch the real killers.

Melody of the Plains

The fourth of 12 singing Westerns starring the "Silvery-Voiced Baritone," Fred Scott, Melody of the Plains begins peacefully enough with Scott, as cowboy Steve Condon, warbling Don Swander and June Hershey's "Albuquerque." The story quickly takes a rather grim turn when one of Steve's colleagues is shot and killed after selling out to a gang of rustlers. Mistakenly believing he fired the deadly shot, a dejected Steve, along with sidekick Fuzzy, goes to work for Bud's father, a rancher nearly forced into bankruptcy by a crooked land developer.

A U.S. soldier goes after bandits in California, although it is still owned by Mexico.

Police set up a dragnet to trap an outlaw's wife whom they believe to be his accomplice.

South of Arizona

Kenyon has the newly arriving Ranger shot and his man Martin assume the Ranger's identity. Clay finds the Ranger before he dies and learns the truth. But when Clay confronts Martin, Martin convinces the townspeople he is a real Ranger and Clay is the murderer. Clay escapes and must now find a way to expose Martin as a fake.

When Montana cowpuncher Larry Benson, riding his horse Starlight and accompanied by his dog Rex, tied up at the hitching post in front of McAvoy's hotel in Dam, Texas, he had little idea of the extraordinary series of adventures that were in store for him, Starlight and Rex.

In Old Cheyenne

A remake of 1930's "Phantom of the Desert", in which a crooked foreman and the ranch hands are rustling horses, and laying the blame on a wild stallion that roams the surrounding hills.In this one the principals are Jim/Cheyenne(Rex Lease) as the cowhand that comes along and clears the horse,Starlight;the crooked foreman is Clyde Winslow(Harry Woods), while Helen Sutter(Dorothy Gulliver) is the daughter of ranch owner Frank Sutter(Jay Hunt.) This one was remade at least four more times by 1940.

The Great Train Robbery

After the train station clerk is assaulted and left bound and gagged, then the departing train and its passengers robbed, a posse goes in hot pursuit of the fleeing bandits.

Steamboat Bill, Jr.

The just-out-of-college, effete son of a no-nonsense steamboat captain comes to visit his father whom he's not seen since he was a child.
