The Fighting Hombre is a 1927 American silent Western film directed by Jack Nelson.

Ace Remsen and Deuce Remsen are twin brothers. Deuce is a bandit and he is slain by Ace. The good Ace goes undercover as Deuce in order to solve the murder of the rancher Seth Waverly. During his investigation Ace falls in love with Seth's attractive daughter Merrill.

A minstrel troupe is embarking for a tour of the South. Henry Clay appears on the scene wearing the frayed coat of a Confederate General. He borrows a guitar from one of the minstrel men and begins singing "Way down South in Dixie," and the story unfolds.

Lechat offers to pay Xavier's debts if he gets his friend's father, the Minister of War, to lift restrictions on the operation of a mine in French Africa which Lechat optioned.
