A philosophy-obsessed serial rapist stalks a university campus in broad daylight.

Set in the Lisbon during the festivities of Saint Anthony, the patron saint of lovers and the old town. The story is about Cato, a nationalist politician who is charismatic and unscrupulous. He obsessively pursues Silvia, a mystical and mysterious young transvestite whom he meets at the festival. When Silvia runs into Vicente, a policeman who arrests transvestites and threatens them, Silvia must look towards blackmail to save herself. Compromising photos of Cato start to emerge among opposition parties and he must do all in his power to save his political career.

Rio Vermelho (Red River) is a short film about a pregnant woman which has a strong connection to the river. In spite of being pregnant she swims in the river as she always did, but suddenly her child wants to born, birth time has come and she feels helpless in the middle of the river…She asks for "Lady of Beyond" help…

Through the voice, gaze, silence, and actions of each of these women, we learn about the richness of their experiences, which together give us a legacy of trust, justice, perseverance, respect, and freedom. These are women who defeated fascism, colonialism, and social inequalities in Portugal and the occupied African territories and transformed the world around them.
