Edzard is on his way from Berlin to Braunschweig to visit his family. During the trip the reason of his visit becomes clear, or doesn't it? During the trip he meets several people, most of them more than once. How this is possible becomes not quite clear until the end.

German mockumentary about the history of the techno band of the same name. Fraktus were once considered the pioneers of techno. Now, after 25 years, they are planning their big comeback. The band is supported by their manager Roger Dettner, who used a trick to get the band back together.

17-year-old Guido suffers since his early childhood from neurodermatitis. After being taken to the hospital due to a heavy attack, he starts to question his personal and familiar environment and discovers that his parents’ relationship – which he assumed to be happy and sound – is built on lies. Gunther and Wolfgang, two long-time unemployed friends spot an opportunity when their favorite Schnitzel shop is closing up and they want to run it themselves. Only problem is they need 10,000 euros advance payment. Like so many German unemployed they come up with the nuttiest plans, the craziest schemes and the daftest ideas to get the cash. When an old friend of Wolfgang's wife turns out to have made quite the fortune, they embark on their adventure to make a quick buck. Unfortunately, their best laid plans don't exactly work out. A story about friendship, human kindness, ambition, love and trust and obviously Schnitzel.

In today’s Friesland, Fuchs, a food inspector in the district, is always in a good mood and committed to investigating North German snack bars. He dreams of a career in Hamburg, for which he works hard. But his superior at the public order office, Sigmar Koch, asks Fuchs to do him a special favor: he has to accommodate his brother Tillmann, a bad-tempered drunk.

Forced into homelessness, Melli, a single mother, takes her son Ben to a forest. There they build a makeshift camp, set back from the paths so that no one can find them. They think this solution is only temporary. Melli firmly believes their lives will improve soon, a feeling that is strengthened when she is employed as a trainee flight attendant. Unlike Melli, Ben actually enjoys the exciting camp trip. Life under difficult conditions further strengthens the bond between mother and son.

With a t-shirt sale the two friends Günther and Wolfgang finally want to turn their backs on unemployment benefits. But this plan is not as easy to implement as expected and in the end, almost everything is different than it initially looks. But one thing is certain: there is always time of a Schnitzel.

While Hanne gets used to scream therapy and raising vegetables surprisingly quickly - and even more quickly to the tantra games with commune guru Peter - Niels has less and less desire for the dogmatic commune rules. Out of defiance, he joins the violent nuclear power plant resistance, thus upsetting the tranquil chaos of the commune. The big bang, however, comes when a reactor explodes in distant Chernobyl. Exactly on the day Bobby Ewing dies, the petroleum prince from "Dallas" and series favorite of the commune.

Set in the early '80s, a time when a new wave of leftist political consciousness and activism had swept German youth (and was just about to disappear as quickly as it arrived), this satiric comedy follows a young couple, Ingo (Hans-Jochen Wagner) and Nadja (Valerie Koch), as they travel to Austria for a weekend of skiing near her parent's luxurious chalet. While Ingo and Nadja have an open relationship, he thinks its time that they commit to one another exclusively, and is hoping this weekend will convince her this is a good idea. However, their privacy is interrupted when several guests arrive -- friends of Nadja's brother Knut (Ingo Haeb), a noted political activist, who, unbeknownst to her, has also planned a ski weekend. As the guests await Knut's arrival, they get the unpleasant news that he's been arrested during a demonstration; several propose that they should come to his aid, while the majority decide instead to go skiing as a way to pay tribute to his commitment to the cause.
