A newly-wed woman is met with abuse in her new house

The story of two carefree men who use every trick in the book to make a comfortable living.

Several years ago Rakesh's life was turned upside down when his dad was murdered. The only consolation to be drawn by his passing, was that the assailant was also killed. Years later, Rakesh finds out that his dad's killer is still alive, and the police have closed this file. He decides to avenge his father's death and travels to a far-off village, and befriends a young man named Shera. He finds out through Durga, whom he falls in love with, that his father's killer is Sardar Poppy Singh, who runs a vast underground business empire of growing and selling cocaine. Then Shera and Durga get the shocks of their lives when they find out that Rakesh has joined forces with Poppy, and has even killed a police officer to prove his loyalty. What led to Rakesh's sudden change of heart - from killing his father's assailant to becoming partners with him?

When Laali, who loves Shyamu, refuses to marry Kalidas, recommended by her aunt, her naive brother, Dhanna, and Bhabhi, Bhagwanti, are asked to leave and till a barren piece of land. When Dhanna is unable to grow anything, he decides to take the assistance of Thakara, none other than Bhagwan Shri Vishnu. He approaches Pandit Tirlochan in order to take the Diety to his residence. Tirlochan cons him by giving him a rock instead, and he brings it home, refuses to feed himself until and unless the Thakara shares his humble offerings. As a result, the entire community, including Laali and Bhagwanti, think Dhanna has lost his mind.

Rani is a child who is being brought up by her mother, Kamla (Asha Parekh) as her dad Rajendra (Rajendra Kumar) has gone out of town on business. One day, Kamla gets the news that her husband is returning, and she is overjoyed. This joy turns to sorrow when she finds out that he has died in an accident. Shortly thereafter, she too passes away, leaving poor Rani at the hands of the cruel relatives. Her best friend Pappu (Master Abbas) tells her about Lalpari (Reena Roy). She succeeds to reach heaven with the help of Lalpari and manages to trick Yamraj (God of truth and death). However, Rani's father was only injured in the plane crash. Rani lives happily ever after with her parents. This movie also features the story of Cinderella and Gulliver's Travels in two songs.

Shakti and Shankar are two childhood buddies who grow up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a shanty town. Shakti becomes a sort of 'godfather' for the locals under the name of Dayavan. He falls in love and gets married to a young prostitute. However, their happiness is short-lived, as the gangster lifestyle begins to take its toll.

Bandit Ajay Singh (Danny Denzongpa) makes a living robbing and killing innocent villagers, which makes life almost impossible for orphanage director Vijay Singh (Feroz Khan). To put an end to Ajay's murderous rampage, Vijay teams up with good-hearted bandit Shakti. The cunning and ruthless Ajay thinks he can use his money to stop his enemies from coming after him, but he's about to find out he's wrong.

Rana Vikram Singh has two sons, police officer Rajesh and fun-loving playboy Amar. Rajesh has gone through a traumatic experience of losing the girl he loved when she succumbed to drug addiction. He vows to fight this menace.
