Two Tough Guys

Olga, a girl around 25, comes to Madrid from the village she used to live in with her father, in order to have a new start in life. Her father suffers from a deep depression since her mother died, and she does all she can to help him. She works with advertising, and starts as an assistant, in an agency. In no time, she's doing her own creations. But the sexual harassment from an important client, her colleagues' envy and her own ambition lead her to jail.

A law school professor witnesses his colleague, friend and mentor murder his own wife. Rather than turn his friend in, he disowns him, but the decision leads to more danger.

After 15 years, Tomas, a not very succesfull writer, comes back to the village in Galicia where his family comes from, Arga, apparently to get an award. But he doesn't know the real reason why he is there, to end with an old curse that is been haunting the village for the last hundred years.

Taking all that was great from the first instalment, the movie aims to be a wilder, leaner, faster-paced and even more entertaining anthology this time around, with a new crop of award-winning, visionary filmmakers from around the globe.

4,000 tons of oil have been stolen from a Galician deposit. The alleged thieves are defended by the lawyer Ramos, but the witnesses die and suspicions point to Franco's brother.

Daniel is a yuppie that hasn't been been able to lead a satisfactory sentimental life. One day he meets Yolanda, a beautiful young woman who has a daughter, Patricia, and who hasn't been very lucky in life either. They decide to get together and they go to live in his house, an old and eerie mansion. Soon enough, their relationship starts to become difficult; the isolation of the house and Daniel's mysterious past transform Yolanda's illusions of happiness into an existence of fear and distrust. Finally Yolanda decides to find out who the person she's living with really is, and in doing so she puts her life and her daughter's at risk.
