Year of the Kingboxer

In a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, an injured stuntman begins to tell a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm, a fantastic story about 5 mythical heroes. Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality starts to blur as the tale advances.

Mob assassin Jeffrey is no ordinary hired gun; the best in his business, he views his chosen profession as a calling rather than simply a job. The Lung (Dragon) triad used to be one of Hong Kong's most powerful crime families, but its power has waned in recent years. Tsui is quite willing to kill or sacrifice all for his subordinates to secure power, but he might be weakening his own organization due to this mentality.

Ko Chun, a renowned gambler, loses his memory in an accident and starts behaving like a child. Little Knife, an amateur gambler, offers him shelter and realizes that he has a penchant for gambling.
