The backbone of the story is the beating of the main heroine, an old and lonely woman, who is trying to draw the attention of her daughter and her family.

The father of young boy discovers his wife's secret after a minor injury his son sustained, which showed him having a different blood group than that of his parents.

The plot of this film can be viewed from a two different levels. The first is universal and deals with the psychological theme of need for competition in the group, highlighting the need for the victory, which in life usually does not depend on the true virtues of the winner, so the result is usually tragicomic. The story talks about the choice of the most noble work. Selected participants arrive at the guesthouse on the border between Croatia and Serbia to prepare for the final act of the competition and the jury's decision. Seven competitors have a rather narrow view of the world. Even when the big events, such as ethnic conflicts in this part of the Balkans, the contestants insist to proceed the competition and to choose the hero of heroes, even though the very idea of competition has become anachronistic under the pressure of current events (the anger of the local Serbian population of the newly established Croatian authorities).

Vuk Karadžić, is а Yugoslavian historical drama television series which depicts the life and work of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, a Serbian linguist and major reformer of the Serbo-Croatian language.

The story takes place at the beginning of the bombing, both in Belgrade and in one small town in Serbia, at the end of March 1999. On often finds himself retreating into a world of daydreams, which becomes all the more common after he loses his job. On struggles to drown in ennui with alcohol, gambling and meaningless sex, but matters only get worse as he learns that his elderly mother's health is failing, and he can no longer keep up with the bills for her medical care. When On discovers some forgotten savings, he sets out on a vacation in hopes of recapturing his muse, with his beautiful and loyal secretary in tow. Film received its American premiere at the 2008 Palm Springs Film Festival.
