Twelfth Night

Little Nikita, the son of polar scientist Sergei Ivanov, runs away from home with the intention of reaching the Arctic, where he believes his father works. The boy manages to reach Leningrad, where he ends up at the Arctic Institute. Sergei is tasked with returning the runaway home, but Nikita stubbornly hides his origins and the purpose of his escape. Soon, his grandmother arrives, and Ivanov learns that Nikita is his son. He writes a letter to his ex-wife and convinces her of the need to return to him. The couple reconciles, and, preparing for another expedition, Sergei promises his wife and young son that he will return to the mainland on time.

The daughter of a sailor who died at sea, she lives in a port city with her mother. The shipowner threatens to kick them out of the house if they don't pay for six months or if she doesn't marry him. The handsome sailor and rebel appears in the city, and makes her fall in love with him. Shipowner finds out about this. When the police commissioner shows him the photograph of the rebel sent, he recognizes the sailor, who got a job with him on a ship on which weapons are transported under the guise of oranges.

Something went wrong with the chairman of a prosperous collective farm, both at home and in the general household. And when they sent a new secretary of the party organization, he got really angry and went to Alexandra. But he continued to worry about the collective farm and therefore always waited for news through her — how were they without him? And he knew that no one would come for him. But one day an accident happened on the collective farm, he was called and Alexandra could not keep him...

Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".
