Yaji & Kita: The Midnight Pilgrims

A slice of life comedy where Furutachi Kanji and Takito Kenichi play poor brothers Ichiro and Jiro respectively. Older one (Ichiro) is very serious while the younger one (Jiro) is trying to start rental father/uncle service and they have to deal with issues from their clients.

He doesn't show it, but it saddens him that his customers are so preoccupied with affairs of the heart and not the coffee.

The second half features Tabata Masaji, the coach who laid the foundations of Japanese swimming and helped bring the games to Tokyo for the first time in 1964.

Ichiro is a PE teacher in 1986 feared by his students for a "tough love" approach, harsh tongue and frequently “inappropriate” behavior.
