The Cat, The Reverend and The Slave

A documentary investigation of the world of French agriculture today through various testimonials. A world that manages to resist the upheavals that it faces – economic, scientific, social – and which continues, for better or for worse, to maintain the link between generations.

In August of 70 a.H. (Raelian era), Lily and Dominique embark upon their first experience of the European Happiness Academy, under the Croatian sun. For over forty years, Rael has been transmitting the knowledge he has inherited from our extra-terrestrial fathers to a select, awakened, few. Determined to meet their kindred spirits, Lily and Dominique vie for the favours of the charming singer, Arnaud Fleurent Didier, as the Raelian teachings gradually take root.

Three Japanese men have fallen under the charms of high school student Rinko, a character from the video game Love Plus. The game finally leads them to the seaside resort of Atami, where the virtual world and real life collides.

'The Sims' players tell the story of their avatar. Through first-person narratives, they sow confusion between the real and the virtual and offer an original presentation of their double life.

Can a life size doll, an avatar or an artificial intelligence truly love you? Through unilateral love stories between humans and non-humans, the film explores different attempts to be in the world and draws a picture of Japan’s future.
