A brutal father, shaped by the right-wing deep state, forces his two sons and daughter into deadly ambushes to rob passing cars. Bound by an incestuous relationship with his daughter, he dominates the family, driving one son to seek escape while the other, disabled, struggles to emulate him.

An avid fan of football and fan of Panathinaikos falls for the daughter a fan of Olympiakos. The effort to reconcile with the father of the girl, and perennial football rival, will be full of misunderstandings and humorous.

A prostitute (Evdokia) meets a sergeant (Yorgos). They fall in love and get married after a short love affair. Her profession, however, is a barrier for their relationship. They try to stay together and overcome their inner conflicts, but the social environment crushes them.

This film is a social comment of the times, exploring issues that centre around relationships and what was allowed and what was not allowed at the time (early 60s) in Greece. There are sub-plots also, mainly relating to the life of the poor city dwellers, social injustice and seeming double standards. Aliki Vougiouklaki is a poor young girl dreaming of a better life and the "handsome prince on a white stallion" who will deliver her from her miserable existence. She meets and falls in love with a young man (Nikos Kourkoulos) who also falls in love with her, but things are not as simple as they first seem. His past comes to haunt them with tragic consequences. Vassilis Diamantopoulos is excellent as the half-crazed old captain whose life strangely echoes that of young Aliki.

(Aka 'Pandora') Vissilis wanders around in the dilapidated house, where he was raised by his uncle Kostis. His mind is floded with memories of a time long-gone.

An anachronistic and paleolithic father tries to find a good, honest husband for his daughter.

After his release from prison, Stathis visits a private investigator, Othonas, whom he had assigned many years ago to find his mother, who has been missing from the time of the German Occupation. When he meets Othonas, however, they quarrel because the detective hadn’t worked seriously enough on the case. Afterwards, Stathis takes control of his old gang again and sets up a few new scams, selling dreams and hopes to simple people. He soon realizes that he has lost his old love, Vana, who, while he was in prison, had become involved with his second-in- command, Michalis. Nevertheless, his bitterness is softened by Stella, Vana’s sister, who works at the Red Cross. He falls for her, and she responds in kind.

Sotiris, the president of Ano Latini, goes to Athens to get information about the project of expropriation for the construction of a military airport in the village. Dimitroula, president's daughter, is in love with Vangelis, an aircraftsman, who serves his duty in Athens. When Vangelis learns that a wealthy villager asked to marry his girlfriend, he goes to the village with his friend Kanellos, to find out what's happening. Kanellos is a naive hotel concierge who wears a fancy uniform, making everyone in the village believe that he is a Wing Commander.

A rich girl leaves her family to avoid marrying the person her father has chosen for her. Her father offers a reward in order to find her and an other girl that looks exactly like her is brought to him.

Madalena is a tough seventeen-year-old who is forced to take on her father's ferry business after he dies. She has her many brothers and sisters to support, and there is no one else to do the job. So she rallies her defenses and sets out to give her rival in the ferry business a run for his money. But at the same time, the rival's handsome son is starting to look better and better. Madalena refuses to acknowledge her feelings for him -- though how long she can sustain that denial is the question.

By a cruel fate, a pair of newborn twin brothers get separated, and one of them becomes a pampered Casanova, while the other, lands a job at the factory of his unknown sibling's stepdad. Will the polar opposite twins reunite?

Through the narration of a tenant of a block of flats on 288 Stournara street, we watch the everyday stories of people living in the city, their problems, their comic situations and their love affairs.

Thus begins a story in which, behind her husband's back, Eva earns money, which she justifies as an inheritance from an uncle. However, when Minas discovers her trick, every trickster sits on his bench.
