Murders in... is a collection of French-Belgian police TV movies taking place each time in a different French city and region.

1944. In France, devastated by the German occupation, part of the population resists the yoke of the occupiers, men and women who become heroes despite themselves by becoming active members of the Vaucluse resistance. Mother Madeleine, head of an institute for deaf girls, is one of these heroic women. She hides Jewish children and members of the Resistance in her convent, in defiance of the German threat.

Deep in the heart of the Moselle, in the Uckange furnace Park, is a crime scene as spectacular as it is baffling. The victim is the former Director of the site. When the relentless but sensitive Clément Leroy, captain of the criminal section of the Metz gendarmerie, sets out to investigate, he reconnects with his childhood love, Laure Thouvenin, the victim's daughter and a specialist in industrial history. As this free and unconventional woman becomes increasingly involved in the case, she and Leroy unravel the shocking story of their respective families running over three generations.

Portrait of an artist who has marked the history of contemporary photography with his images in sequences where gravity and humor and even writing are mixed. Through the emblematic themes of his work, such as love, desire, death or immortality, this film proposes to revisit the places that have marked him: Pittsburgh, the flagship city of the steel industry, the city of his childhood and his first discoveries; New York, where he has been living for many years with his companion Frédéric, a city that symbolizes encounters and desire; and finally Vermont, for the nature, the seasons and the disused hotel where he works. These places bring out the artist's fantasy, humor and emotion. Duane Michals is a young man of 80 years, with a great freedom of spirit and vitality, his enthusiasm is contagious and this film is a reflection of it.
