Two coming-out stories. One is tragic: Bobby Griffith commits suicide at the age of 20. The other has a happy end: Gina Gutierrez, a 17-year-old girl, finds support for her sexual identity.

Documentary about the experiences of filmmaker Pam Walton as she struggles to reunite with her "family values" father after a long-standing rift. Rus Walton, a radical religious fundamentalist, disowned his daughter because of her lesbian lifestyle. Although he once suggested that practicing homosexuals should be executed, Pam is willing to pay the emotional price to fulfill her longing for parental acceptance.

This extraordinary film interweaves the stories of three close lesbian friends: Joyce Fulton, who died over the course of two years from a brain tumor; Mary Bell Wilson, who, with indefatigable courage, faces up to her own losing battle with lymphoma; and Nan Golub, a black-leather-jacketed, platinum-dyed New York city artist, very much alive. Liberty demystifies death, dispels misinformation about age and sexual orientation and reminds us that life is worth living, even worth celebrating.

Fountaingrove Lodge in Santa Rosa, California, is the nation’s first state-licensed continuing care retirement community (CCRC) that’s specifically for LGBTQ+ seniors and their straight allies. The Lodge looks inside this unique experiment in gay/straight living to show us the daily lives, hopes, and fears of people in their 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.

Women and art rarely get serious attention in our culture, and older women in art are virtually ignored. In TRIPTYCH: 3 Women Making Art, we see three artists who debunk the myth of the older woman as a used up and useless part of society. In fact, these women have remained vibrant and creative well into their sixties and seventies.
