Shanti and Suraj lead a content life until he abandons her to marry Ruchi. Shanti and Ruchi both give birth to boys, who grow up and fight each other, unaware that they are half-brothers.

Two brothers, Thakur Vikram Singh (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), and Baseera Singh (Amjad Khan) live in the same village.
