Shadowboxing

Dara returns home to reconnect with her husband and her young daughter, whom she left two years earlier. When she arrives, she discovers that a woman who is seven months pregnant has taken her place and that her daughter no longer recognizes her.

After graduating from film school, Aura returns to New York to live with her photographer mother, Siri, and her sister, Nadine, who has just finished high school. Aura is directionless and wonders where to go next in her career and her life. She takes a job in a restaurant and tries unsuccessfully to develop relationships with men, including Keith, a chef where she works, and cult Internet star Jed.

Chris can't get along with anyone. When he's attacked in the street Bobby, a manic single dad, jumps in. The two set out into the Montreal night together crashing parties, meeting girls, and eventually seeing Bobby's estranged daughter - Chris soon discovers that the underside to Bobby's charm is a self-destructive streak. Over the course of the night, as they come to know each other they try not to lose themselves.

After the death of their abusive and tyrannic father, three children – now adults – and their aging mother return to their long-abandoned summer cottage. They will have to partake in a strange competition that tore their family apart 30 years prior – a nightmarish return to the past for the family's children.
