Autistic Kees Momma (now 57 years old) has lived his entire life in the perfect environment of his childhood home. But his parents, whom he needs so much, are also getting older and do not have eternal life. Eventually, Kees will have to stand on his own two feet. What happens to him when his parents can no longer bear the responsibility of caring for him?

After the previous documentaries 'Kees vliegt uit' and 'Het beste voor Kees', Videoland is making another documentary about Kees Momma (59). In 'Kees really flies out', viewers will see him spread his wings from June 11.

In this documentary, we follow Nikki for five years as she transitions from her safe primary school to secondary school. She is smart and talented, but has an absent father and a mother with borderline personality disorder and depression.

Plagued by his many fixations and obsessions with, among other things, the weather and sounds, 32-year-old Kees Momma tries to get through everyday life. Unexpectedly high temperatures for the time of year, doors that slam too loudly, a runny nose that is picked up loudly; these are annoyances that make the life of autistic Kees unbearable. It is thanks to his mother, who supports him unconditionally, that Kees survives in the outside world, which is so threatening to him. Subject to a strict daily rhythm, he makes long journeys every day in the autumn season as a passenger of his own model train.
