A group of city dwellers make a trip of three days and two nights into the isolated countryside to visit a friend in the hills. Their true nature begins to reveal itself: love hidden but never forgotten, primitive desires suppressed in the city, nasty pride that triumphs only over the weak and a strong will for survival that sacrifices even love and friendship.

Sun-ju and Jin-woo plan a romantic second honeymoon to celebrate their anniversary. Sun-ju accidently comes into possession of a doll filled with smuggled microfilm. She becomes the target of foreign agents who follow the couple throughout their tour of Australia.

At the seaside, after one final plea for mercy, He-gu is shot dead by Sung-chul, who walks away silently.

Woo-man, who is from this village, drops out of college and comes down to Yeosu to become a member of the Citizens' Party along with his senior Hong-Baek.
