Velayutham is blamed so he forced to leave the place.He comes to Coimbatore for livelihood. Velayutham then get companion of Paramashivam and he become fruit-seller with help of Bama. One day Velayutham get 10,000 bucks for remuneration. He married to Maragatam. Both are in the different edge of the world,ideology. So they always have dialectical relations which forced Maragatam to accept the almighty god.She refused to pick it up.Velayutham disappointed and both are not speaking to each other,meantime Maragatam gives birth to child.The child is unfortunately born paralyzed. Distressed Maragatam step out from her believes take the child to all the Murugan Temple and deeply praying for child.

Deivam is a 1972 devotional Tamil movie consisting of several stories said to have occured in real in the lives of Lord Murugan devotees.

Penn Deivam is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language drama film, directed by M. A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar. The film stars Jaishankar, Padmini, Lakshmi, R. Muthuraman and Major Sundarrajan. The film had musical score by V. Kumar.

Mu. Karunanidhi’s writing was superb with a contemporary touch. His dialogue had punch, satire, wit and humour. Sivaji Ganesan was excellent in his dialogue delivery and P. Kannamba who played the queen mother was equally brilliant. Her line, ‘Poruthathu podhum, pongi ezhu, maganey’, became quite famous.

An undercover agent masquerades as a mysterious man to catch a group of smugglers red-handed and expose their corrupt activities.
