Dawn Flight

It is the story of how a scrawny young colt grows up to be a highly-prized polo pony, and the cast includes Texan Cecil Smith who, for many years, was the highest rated Polo Player in the world. The story begins on the stormy night the colt was born on a horse farm in Kentucky, seven months after the farm's intended crop of yearlings. He is far behind the other colts and is regarded as a misfit. The other colts are sold off into the racing world, but the under-age and scrawny Stormy (real name Woodie D)is sent off to work on a California ranch. There, he is spotted for the thoroughbred he is and trained as a Polo pony, and comes through with flying colors.

A boy, Jeff, comes upon a runaway elephant while fishing. He has adventures taking the elephant to show his father, and the elephant ends up helping save the father’s life.

A handsome thoroughbred yearling accidentally escapes from a cross-country van in the desert, and is found and loved by a young Mexican boy. He hides the horse from searchers, but eventually mends his ways and tries to return the animal. However, two hoodlums steal the horse. The boy leads a sheriff to the rescue, and receives an apt reward.

A palimino cow pony, through a series of owners and adventures becomes a champion mount for one of the US equestrian team.

When the gentle woodcarver Geppetto builds a marionette to be his substitute son, a benevolent fairy brings the toy to life. The puppet, named Pinocchio, is not yet a human boy. He must earn the right to be real by proving that he is brave, truthful, and unselfish.

The trainer's methods cause the horse to become afraid of jumping and the general orders the animal's death. Pablito runs away with the horse, becoming a fugitive. He travels throughout Mexico encountering several fugitives and a priest who tries to help.

Beauty and the Bull is a 1954 short documentary directed by Larry Lansburgh. It revolves around model Bette Ford, who accompanies a friend to a bullfight and decides to take it up as a career. She travels to Mexico to take formal training and fight bulls on ranches. The film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Subject, Two-Reel.

An Amish minister buys a crippled championship steeplechase horse and nurses him back to health. But the horse has not lost his yearning for the racetrack, a trait not appreciated in the strict Amish world.

A racing greyhound is deserted and has to learn to live on her own. Finally she is taken in by a shepherd, and helps him by using her speed to chase away coyotes threatening the flock and to track down a prowling bear.
