In 'Rest and Joy', we follow Emma, a city woman, who after the unexpected loss of her husband Thomas discovers that he, after a years-long waiting list, has been granted a garden at the Rust & Joy community garden complex. Although she hates gardening, she decides to accept the garden anyway to fulfill Thomas's dream and not have to let him go for a while yet.

Israel, 1956: Jewish teacher Rachel Stein rather unexpectedly meets an old friend at the kibbutz. It brings back memories of her experiences in the Netherlands during the war, memories of betrayal. Pizza maffia vertelt het verhaal van Ibrahim en zijn neef Illias. Iedereen kent ze als Bram en Haas, de twee snelste koeriers van pizzeria Novara. De twee jongens zijn onafscheidelijk.
