In order to become an actress, young woman tries many jobs, but in all those places she finds a man trying to have sex with her.

Young woman needs money to pay her mother's medical treatment. She gets a work in a bar that is, in fact, a cover for a prostitution net. She is drugged and raped while some photographs are taken, to be presently used as blackmail, to force her to work as a hooker. She accepts her fate but starts a serious relationship with a reporter, to whom she doesn't dare tell the truth. She wants to leave that life behind and get married, but the gangsters won't allow it. Until one of the girls decides to tell the reporter about the underground activities going on, and he calls the police.

A professional hitman returns to Brazil and is hired to eliminate an Argentine Delegate in a Rio de Janeiro convention. Inspector José da Silva realizes the plot and starts to pursuit him.

A private detective is hired to spy a married woman and ends up falling in love with her.

In the second story, a businessman's woman pretends she is jealous in order to conceal her own unfaithfulness, as she is having an affair with her husband's closest employee.

Alberto Verani is a married farmer and a relentless womanizer. When his wife Marina is away he tries to seduce Condessa Arduini sending her a bouquet signed anonymously. However Marina is the one to find the gift and hides it from Alberto, believing she have a secret admirer. So the husband keeps sending her flowers to test the fidelity while an outsider man discovers the plot and start to takes advantage of it.

This is a short story about a great love between two young people who have loved each other since childhood. They overcome the various obstacles they encounter in life and manage to unite, but a sad misunderstanding separates them and leads the girl to suicide.
