From Ear to Ear

Blurring the line between documentary and fiction, THE BLUES UNDER THE SKIN dramatizes the tumultuous relationship of a young couple (Onike Lee and Roland Sanchez) as they struggle to overcome the barriers of poverty and prejudice that keep them from finding happiness together.

The young artist Wanda Leibovitz comes to Paris, hoping to forget unfortunate love. Soon after arrival directly at the station Wanda meets the mysterious old woman suggesting to rent at it the room (whom the old woman, allegedly, held ready for the now deceased sister). Wanda doesn't know yet that this room will change all her life shortly after it slightly opens a mysterious forbidden door.

A penetrating study of a marriage on the rocks, set against the backdrop of a small Mediterranean fishing village. Both a stylized depiction of the complicated relationship between a married couple and a documentary-like look at the daily struggles of the inhabitants of Sète in the South of France.

Young women have an adventure in the African jungle

The lovely orphan Annie is wandering St Tropez when she meets a mysterious photo-journalist, who convinces her to pose nude for him on the luscious beaches. Proud of her work as the photographer’s muse, Annie agrees to travel to Brazil with him to model nude. After her swarthy companion tries to force himself upon her, Annie flees into the arms of Hugo: another photographer, but one with a more gentle spirit. Hugo takes Annie on a fateful trip into the heart of the Amazon, where the danger and the passion heat up.

Henri Verdier, a young bank manager, has made the acquaintance of Karine, a model of great beauty. Robert, who claims to be Karine's brother, forces Karine to introduce him to Verdier. This is to offer him an urgent business deal: 50 million for a uranium purchase which, within a few days, should yield double that amount. Blinded by passion, Verdier accepts and "withdraws" the necessary sum from his bank. He soon realizes he's been duped. Karine is not Robert's sister and Robert is a crook. Verdier tracks them down.

Five girls spend their holidays in an old mansion in the middle of a farm in southern France, near Soledor. The lady of the house has a secret that the five wild girls will try to discover. They assume it is a hidden treasure somewhere, but it is only a way to hide a dramatic fact that concerns one of the girls.
