Alles außer Mord was a German crime television series which aired on the TV station ProSieben between 1993 and 1995. 14 episodes were produced. The series features various criminal cases of determined private investigator Uli Spruce, who tells his clients: "I do everything - except murder".

Dresden

In January 1945, the young nurse Anna Mauth, working at a hospital in Dresden, becomes engaged to senior physician Benjamin Wenninger. At the same time, an English Lancaster bomber is shot down. The pilot Robert Newman, the only survivor, manages to reach the city severely injured and hides in the hospital's cellar. When terrorists sympathetic to the cause of the German Red Army Faction seize control of the flight, German chancellor Helmut Schmidt refuses to negotiate. Meanwhile, terrorist leader "Captain Martyr Mahmud" grows increasingly agitated, and the Yemeni government refuses to let the plane land on their soil. After Captain Schumann (Thomas Kretschmann) makes an emergency landing in the sand, he is brutally executed in front of the passengers by "Captain Martyr Mahmud" (Said Taghmaoui), who then forces the co-pilot to fly the plane to Somolia. Once there, counter terrorism measures quickly get underway as the passengers brace themselves for the worst.

Money. Murder. Zurich.: Borchert and the time to die

Thomas Borchert, the unlicensed lawyer, and his colleague Dominique Kuster take on the case of Anna Sutter, who wants to contest the will of her father, watchmaker Ludwig Sutter, following his unexpected death. Shortly thereafter, Anna Sutter's half-brother René is found murdered in his office, and the young woman becomes a suspect in the murder. The evidence points to her guilt, particularly the fact that her fingerprints are found on the murder weapon and that, according to a witness statement, she was the last person to be with him before his death. Dominique Kuster attempts to represent her as a lawyer in the murder trial and prove her innocence.

Polizeiruf 110

Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

After the Truth

Famous Nazi doctor Josef Mengele — the 'Death Angel of Auschwitz', who killed more than 300.000 people — emerges from his hideout in Argentina to Germany as a 87-year-old man, and must stand for his crimes in court. The young solicitor Peter Rohm is assigned to defend him, but Rohm himself — an expert on Mengele and his crimes — feels unable to do so. Borchert and Dominique Kuster take over the defense of the taxi driver Jrg Zollinger. Captain Furrer suspects him of the murder of a passenger, the African investigative journalist Nuka Baluba. All the evidence incriminates the uncontrolled suspect, whose testimony initially seems unreliable. Borchert is suspicious of the fact that public prosecutor Dietrich is quick to commit to Zollinger. The "lawyer without a license" suspects that Baluba's research into child labor in cobalt mines in the Congo has something to do with the murder.
