Oficios is a documentary miniseries that chronicles the personal and professional lives of seven senior citizens. In this first season, the series delves into the living memory of the town through their stories. Throughout its episodes, it retraces the footsteps of beloved trades such as bricklayer, telegraph operator, typesetter, seamstress, dressmaker, and bicycle mechanic, preserving not only their personal work histories, but also the way each of them built and shaped the identity of Sastre y Ortiz. | You can watch the full miniseries on the Museo Doval Fermi YouTube channel.

In Sastre y Ortiz, a small town in the province of Santa Fe, carnival is experienced as something far deeper than a mere celebration. Constructed from archival footage, this non-fiction work reflects on the carnival as a collective ritual and a space of resistance against oblivion. A place where a town unites to confront its pain, allowing joy and sorrow, the sacred and the profane, and the very contradictions of human experience to coexist.
