The Death of an Indian Salesman
Plastic Bags, Friendship and Whisky.
Madhow was born in Calcutta but has lived in Norrland for 49 years. He works as a traveling salesman, selling plastic bags to small business owners across the region—including pizza makers, florists, bakeries, fishmongers, machine operators, furniture makers, and vegetable growers. We follow 77-year-old Madhow on one of his trips through Norrland as he sells to, stays with, and socializes with his long-time customers, from Husum to Kiruna.
