Petros Eni

The fisherman who became the rock

2026 · Documentary

In an immersion into the little-known Necropolis upon which the foundations of St. Peter's Basilica rest, we will learn the story of the tomb of the first apostle. The first Pope, the "rock" upon which all of Christianity was built and which has cemented the history not only of the Catholic religion, but of all Western civilization. A fascinating journey through a sacred place that has survived for millennia and whose history is intertwined with the life of the apostle himself and the construction of the Basilica, which in 2026, when Petros Eni arrives in the rooms, will celebrate the 400th anniversary of its inauguration.
