Kaon Ta

Kaon Ta

6 min

Eula reluctantly attends a family dinner after being persuaded by her sister, despite knowing exactly how the night will unfold. As dinner starts, so do the questions. One after another, her relatives ask about her love life, her job, her salary, her plans to get married, have kids, and even comment on her appearance. She even gets compared to her sister. The questions don’t stop. Eula endures the noise in silence. When the questions become too much, she finally speaks, not to defend herself, not to argue, but simply to say: “Kaon Ta.”
