During college in the 90s, Pidi and his friends, Ninu, Deni, Erwin, and Dikdik founded a country of their own called "The United State of the Republic of The Panasdalam". The problems of college and love stories they experienced.

Following a sudden job loss and the dissolution of his romantic relationship in the capital, a dejected young man retreats to his hometown of Bandung, masking his psychological vulnerabilities by donning a traditional ghost costume within a local street-performing subculture.

Bandung is frightened because of the youth who left his family to join Baracas. Baracas is a place where men are disillusioned by women formed by Agus. They muster strength and unite feelings to hate women all over the world and on all the elements concerned with women. Agus is a former girlfriend of Sarah, who suddenly Sarah broke up their relationship. The resistance movement against Baracas accused the police and the city administration of deliberately allowing Baracas to flourish. That's why they are demos. Even Baracas got a physical attack. Resistance is also done by ex-girlfriend members of Baracas. They do various ways to change the way Baracas thinks.

After her father died at sea, Asih lived solely with her mother. To make ends meet, she helped her mother with various tasks, ranging from selling fish at the market to helping run a food stall. This grueling routine often left her exhausted, causing her to fall asleep in class. Her hardships intensified when her mother was diagnosed with kidney failure and required dialysis. Financial constraints hindered the treatment, and her mother eventually passed away. Fate brought Asih together with Denise, an American journalist. Asih’s honesty in finding and returning Denise’s mobile phone led to her being taken in as a foster daughter. Asih’s life was transformed; she continued her education in the city, pursued medical studies, and cultivated her photography skills to the point of landing a job with a foreign media outlet. She also succeeded in becoming a doctor, opening a medical practice where she provided free care to the underprivileged.

Because of his political activities, Sukarno was exiled to Ende in 1934. He went with his wife Inggit Garnasih, daughter Ratna Djuami alias Omi, and mother-in-law Amsi. The initial period in exile was difficult. The most painful thing is that no local people dare to speak to him and everywhere he is always followed by the police.
