In the Event of Possible Delays

Four sisters who have been living separate lives come together in the hostel they inherited after their father's death. Being on the same shore again after years is the first step towards understanding and forgiving each other.

Behiye (70) lives in the same house with her son Necati (40). Due to Alzheimer's disease, she forgets the places where she has hidden her money. Her daughters Selma (37) and Türkan (46), along with her grandson Mert (23), come to the house to search for the money. They find the money together at home. Türkan and Selma start competing secretly to take the money. When Türkan puts the money into Mert's bag, Necati catches her and an argument breaks out among them.

Yazgülü, who lives in Denizgöründü, one of the villages of Çanakkale, wakes up at the same time every day and is busy with the same chores. Hıdırellez celebrations, which Yazgülü eagerly awaits, is an opportunity for her to get away from her routine life.

Seher, living in a container camp in Antakya after the earthquake, finds herself chasing after the aid supplies she missed while trying to find a way to reissue her lost university exam entrance document the night before the exam.

Salih (35), taking his son Mert (5), returns to father’s home, upon his funeral - in where he gets stuck within memories, family criticism and responsibility to his son. He justifies himself by blaming his father with whom he had a fall out but also faces the truths of becoming him and that his father loved him indeed.

Ahmet is an 11-year-old middle school student. Since he ripped his trousers while playing ball at school, he needs to have his trousers patched with the money he received from his father. He decides to change the color of the patch to red to impress his classmate Yağmur. He comes close to being harassed at the tailor his father sent him to. When he returns home, his father goes crazy when he sees the red patch and forcing Ahmet to confront the tailor once again.
