Nicholas Meyer: In Conversation
An in-depth interview with the director of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, profiling the filmmaker whose work arguably saved the Star Trek franchise after the nearly-catastrophic challenges of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Meyer recalls his complicated relationship with series creator Gene Roddenberry and tells of his initial inspiration for what many still consider to be the best in the Star Trek film series. The legendary filmmaker also reveals his secret to directing actor William Shatner and talks about the reason he did not receive screen credit as a writer on the project.
