The Santiagos are a Filipino-American family of seven crammed into one tiny Los Angeles apartment, all chasing distant showbiz dreams. Bound by love and constant bickering, they navigate a turbulent year: isolation in spring, betrayal in summer, disaster at a fall party, and eviction in winter. No Room For Love is a comedy about big dreams, small spaces, and artists doing their best to survive poverty, bad luck, and each other - without ever giving up.

Ken Jones is a flamboyant talk show host who relishes being the "whitest gaysian ever." However, underneath Ken's colorful persona lies a case of internalized racism. So, not only does Ken not want to be Asian but he hates it and tries to stay away from it. Soon, Ken's perfectly curated world of glitz and glamour is rocked by an incident at work, forcing him to reckon with tokenism in the workplace, and the re-appearance of his mother, whom Ken had not seen in over twenty years.
