Lisandra complies with her mother's wish and comes to Malaysia. However, she is not alone when her ex-boyfriend Alexandro follows her with the intention of winning her back. Meanwhile, Zamani lives with his mother and stepfather. Zamani loves his mother dearly but dislikes his stepfather who frequently abuses her. Zamani's stepfather is a drug dealer and is often hired to dump toxic factory waste into the river. Zamani is friends with Haris, a man who is skilled at 'charming' women.
