A film where the director turns his camera on his own domestic existence and essays to show it 'like it is' without the structure usually imposed by filmmaking. What he tries to mirror is the essential aloneness of people, life in suspense, of unmotivated being. Adult life is seen in black and white; that of his infant son, Max, is in colour. The contrast suggests the loss of joy that comes with maturity and knowledge.

Experimental filmmaker and color cameraman here collaborate in a surrealistic retelling of the old myth. He has left their parents' home but still has not made an home of his own. Our protagonist’s alienation is palpable; for him life is a game, not because he chooses to make it so, but because he is unable to make anything more of it. But for those who befriend him and eventually turn him loose again, his game is not enough.
