Via Crucis

A couple going about their daily lives in Corsica. She takes care of the children and the house, he enjoys the cafes and the surrounding landscapes stretching to the sea. Heir to a long history of traditions, she will remember them for an astonishing act of revenge.

A woman in her apartment. A Corsican village square under the winter sun. An anonymous voice on the phone... and finally, this cry: AVÀ BASTA !

During the women's demonstration on March 8, 1972, Mariasilvia SPOLATO was there with a placard: Liberazione omosessuale. A month later, Simone de Beauvoir came to Rome to give an interview, and this placard illustrated her article. Mariasilvia could no longer teach, ended up homeless and spent her life on the trains.

A breakup experienced in a Mediterranean Paris but above all perceived and revealed by the reminiscence of a nostalgic and olfactory image of childhood and his grandmother.
