Bella pursues her dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur, starting with a sewing machine gift from Auntie Chan, the mother of her best friend, Alex. Bella often brings home fabric scraps from Auntie Chan's tailor shop and sews clothes for herself. Bella is successfully accepted to university and receives sewing orders to sustain her living.
