Ranong… the land of eight months of rain, four of sun, Chumphon… the grand gateway where the great gulf is won, Vast mangrove forests, wide seas, paths stretching long, Whispering winds softly chant the Mother’s song.
This short documentary explores the living breath of the Thai peninsula. Their simple yet invaluable ways of life are now being challenged by the blueprints of the “Landbridge”—massive, parallel lines of concrete, railways, and deep-sea ports destined to cut through the heart of their traditional existence.
