Like Love

Kenji Nakagami, one of the most notable Japanese writers of the post-war, died in 1992. His work reveals a strong connection to his homeland, Kishu: a mountainous region that connects to the Pacific Ocean through a river. "To The Alley" (alternative title) is a documentary about Kenji's life. Incorporating 16 mm images from the writer's personal archive and adding new footage, director Shinji Aoyama travels through the paths of the life and art of the Japanese writer.

A wacky tale of two guys, one Korean and one Japanese who, mistaken for a couple of murderers, take to their heels, thus starting off a adrenaline-pumping (and often zany) adventure with a distorted sense of time.

She also has a secret life as the voice of a midnight talk show host, the sexually-charged Midori. Mio must explore her past and her new feelings. Can she hold off the power and predictions of Kokkuri to enter adulthood, or will the destructive and romantic side of teen spirit be too powerful?

Fumiko, a married bookkeeper at a hair salon, is having an affair with one of the stylists, Sawai. Suspecting that her co-worker Mayumi is also involved with him, Fumiko murders her in a fit of jealousy, dismembers the body, and disposes of the remains around the city. When Mayumi’s husband, taxi driver Yukio, comes looking for his missing wife, Fumiko approaches him and claims that Mayumi had wanted to visit a hot-spring resort in the snowy mountains. The two set out together in search of her, each carrying motives and resentments of their own, as their strange journey gradually develops into an uneasy and increasingly dangerous intimacy.
