During the conquest period, an Inca Princess escapes from Spanish rule along with part of her people, venturing into the Tamarugo Forests. There, she establishes a settlement where for many years every captured foreigner is mercilessly massacred, until they capture Vasco de Almeida, a Portuguese miner with whom the Ñusta, better known as La Tirana, finds love and above all, faith in God.
