Dilaila is a cheerful, determined and optimistic girl despite her childhood not being as beautiful as others. Dilaila was born without the knowledge of her father, Sulaiman, who had already divorced her mother, Salinah when she was in the womb. Dilaila's budding romance with Amer faces strong opposition from Noraini who despises Salimah. However, Razak likes Dilaila and wants her to be his daughter-in-law. Dilaila's best friend Jessila secretly has feelings for Amer and is willing to do anything to have him. Noraini plots with Jessila's mother to prevent Dilaila's relationship with Amer.
