Sinopsis Dendam Hantu Latah Tells the story of Aris, a teenage boy who was lashing out and was mistaken for dead by his village people. The commotion started when the villagers thought Haris was a ghost who was bothering them.

When traditional dancer Mok Yoh disappears, her fellow villagers think she has died and turned into a ghost. Her nephew Yem comes from Kuala Lumpur to investigate.

The story tells of Mustakim who has not played the gambus since the death of his wife and child in an accident. Atikah and her friend come to meet with Mustakim to produce a documentary about the culture and heritage of the gambus instrument. Atikah's mother, Rashidah, accompanies her daughter in learning. In secret, Mustakim has feelings for Rashidah. Atikah, who has begun to like Mustakim, is disappointed and runs away when she discovers that the man she loves has chosen her mother instead.
