A love story starring Tamaki Hiroshi, Konishi Manami, Ikeuchi Hiroyuki, Hirayama Aya and Kamiki Ryunosuke. Hiroyuki, a fourth-year law student who has just broken up with his girlfriend Miwa, is approached by Satoshi, a student at the same university, on his way home from school and asked to do something strange. He wants to make a will for himself. Satoshi, who calls himself the "God of Death," begins to tell him about his mysterious past. He wants to get close to people but cannot. He says that everyone he was close to would die. So he has lived his life without befriending or loving anyone since he was a child. But when Satoshi meets a woman named Mizuki, he unexpectedly falls in love with her. And that was the beginning of a very sad love story...

Seiji Hirokawa works as a university professor. One day, his sick wife dies. Several days later, the intercom bell rings at his home and he sees a strange woman's face on the intercom screen. The woman asks "Is your wife at home?" Seiji Hirokawa opens the front door, but nobody is there. The president of the university where Seiji Hirokawa works suddenly dies. An election to select his replacement takes place. The election even involves the students and Seiji Hirokawa also participates. The professors are cautious with each other and a mysterious document spreads across the university. Meanwhile, Seiji Hirokawa carries guilt over his past behavior. Before his wife passed away, he had an affair with his sister-in-law Rei Mizushima. She works as an instructor at the same university. An unidentified body is found nearby at a garbage dump

Ichiko bakes a cake for an end-of-year party with her friends. In the depths of winter, making mochi and curry keeps the people of Komori warm. Later, spring brings thoughts of her absent mother as well as rice planting and sakura, and she begins to think of leaving Komori behind again.
